Known for sparse compositions, London duo The Kills just saw their new songs stripped down to nothing. After a huge row with girlfriend Kate Moss, guitarist and singer Jamie “Hotel” Hince found himself watching his laptop bag sink to the bottom of a pool, after Moss dramatically flung it there.
Contained within the laptop’s hard drive were six new Kills tracks, regrettably not housed anywhere else. According to The Mirror, “Jamie was absolutely livid and kept yelling, ‘Why would you do such a f*****g stupid thing?! You’re acting like a fishwife!’”
And here we thought dating supermodels helped rock stars advance their careers!
