German überlabel Kompakt will release its tenth annual “Total” compilation in August.
Already a powerhouse in the dance community, these last twelve months has seen Kompakt going from strength to strength and dishing out some smoking tunes along the way.
Spanning 2 CDs and 21 tracks, the compilation will feature Kompakt stalwarts such as Gui Boratto with his remix of “I’m In Love With A German Film Star” by Sam Taylor-Wood, Matias Aguayo, as well as critical favourites The Field .
Not only does “Total” collect some of the best tracks of the last twelve months — it also offers three exclusive tunes, including DJ Koze’s "40 Love”, Coma’s "Sum” and Michael Mayer and Jörg Burger collaboration Mayburg with “Each and Every Day”, featuring Ada.
Kompakt will release “Total 10” on August 10, 2009.
