Located in center of the West Village and across from Hudson River Park, stands the hip Jane Hotel. The epic building, designed by William A. Boring – architect of the immigrant station at Ellis Island – was restored by hotel moguls Sean MacPherson (co-owner of the Bowery Hotel) and Eric Goode.
The “200-room micro hotel” is a mecca to young travelers that would rather spend their money while awake. The hotel´s style resembles a vintage European estate with rooms looking like train cabins and European-style communal bathrooms.
Each room features free high-speed internet, an iPod dock/clock radio and a 23 inch flat-screen LCD television with DVD Player – which could come in handy after partying in the city that never sleeps.
