Stealth bombers Leftfield are back, and it’s causing quite a stir in the dance community.
A whole ten years have passed since their last LP Rhythm and Stealth was released and another fifteen since the duo, made up of Paul Daley and Neil Barnes, unleashed their genre-changing album Leftism to the unsuspecting public.
Back in the day, Leftfield led the way with their impenetrable style of fierce electronica, even managing to burst ear drums along the way. Their first live show will be at the Scottish festival RockNess in June, with promoter Jim King salivating over their live return – “Ask any electronic band who was an inspiration for them and Leftfield will always be listed. I was fortunate to see them live over 10 years ago and if you think the Prodigy are loud, then you won’t know what hit you when Leftfield kick in.”
Leftfield have not made an official announcement nor booked any other shows, but we can advise having your earplugs ready!
