New Squarepusher? New Squarepusher! As Warp Records just announced, Tom Jenkinson has set up the new album and live show Ufabulum, to be released on 14th May 2012. There’s not too much information out yet, but a short video hints towards an at least visual feast: Squarepusher sporting a LED helmet in front of a giant LED wall looks promising in terms of getting your mind blown at live shows :
Several live dates have been announced worldwide, with possibly more dates following in the next couple of weeks until the Ufabulum release. A post on his Facebook page quotes him saying: “I’ve started thinking about pure electronic music again. Something very melodic, very aggressive.” – Whatever this means in detail, we hope it’s something different than the Shobaleader One (…) thing musicwise. We’ll simply stick to that German saying: Nichts genaues weiß man nicht.
