What’s that? You want to know what’s been going in our ears this week, reverberating our cochleas and sending broader vibrations throughout our bodies and by extension our audio-addled souls? That’s a coincidence: here’s this week’s Editor’s Choice.

Matmos - Very Large Green Triangles (Edit)
Matmos are about to release a sophisticated 12-inch called The Ganzfeld EP this October on my beloved Thrill Jockey records. The track above again features the molecular electronics that M.C. Schmidt and Drew Daniel established as their signature sound – still very exciting, and it isn’t even the best of the EP’s three challenging tracks (that’s ‘You (Rrose Mix)’). And for all you collectors out there, The Ganzfeld EP comes in a special edition with Incase headphones and Ganzfeld goggles. Maybe we will give away some of these in future competition, so stay alert. Or pre-order here.
Dr Octagon - 3000
Won’t say much about this. Classic Kool Keith!

Shisa – Hearts
I’ve been following Shisa’s progress for quite a while now on Facebook, now his mix of naive house and post-internet everything sees a release on AMDiscs. Soothing ambiance reflects in chrome shades and LED-shirts.
Sun Araw – Like Wine
Genius track from Sun Araw’s upcoming album, more on that soon!
