I can’t really tell who received a remix treatment by David Moufang aka Move D here, but Goner Music posted this on SoundCloud today, noting it was an “old rmx that never saw the light of day”. What a shame. Beautiful fall melancholy written all over the place.

When this was first played on Blawan‘s Boiler Room set it was clear this was going to be an event tune, a ‘Sicko Cell’ for 2012. This week sees its full release as part of the His He She and Him EP on Joy Orbison‘s and Will Bankhead‘s Hinge Finger label. And what better excuse to go another round against its scabrous industrial shred? Oof.

Jason Lescalleet – The Power Of Pussy
I just rediscovered Jason Lescalleet‘s album Songs About Nothing last night on facebook. That title is obviously a reference to Big Black‘s Masterpiece Songs About Fucking. There is a tradition of nothingness in western culture, think about Flaubert’s vision of a book about nothing. A book that is just plain style.
