EB editor and Noisekölln promoter Michael Aniser recently did an interview with Forrest about the fascinating and entertaining project. Since then we’ve been following the programming quite heavily; especially those of us without television sets. This week their focus is on hip hop, which means we’re also discovering (and rediscovering) loads of great sounds. You might not know this, but there is also a Network Awesome Magazine, with around 100 writers. The Greek Bill Kouligas lives in Berlin where he moved to from London three years ago. From there he runs PAN, one of the most exciting labels for experimental & electronic music of the moment. We met up with him in a café in Cracow’s beautiful old Jewish quarter Kazimierz. – more
