That makes sense as all of them, including Lescoeur, look for the abnormal in the so-called ‘normal’. Tonight, Julien Lescoeur will exhibit one of his largest photographs to date at Electronic Beats’ headquarters in Berlin. Why there and not a gallery, you might ask? The answer is simple: friendly ties. Julien studied art together with EB staff photographer Luci Lux in the boring city of Strasbourg, Alsace. What sets Lescoeur apart from Crewdson, Lynch and Hopper is that his photographs are not staged. They are discovered. ~ Photo: Julien Lescoeur
