Here at EB we follow the trajectory of Amanda Brown’s Not Not Fun imprint and it’s sub-label 100% Silk very closely. Indeed, as soon as we learned that Brown’s solo project LA Vampires was teaming up with Not Not Fun’s resident avant-pop protegé Maria Minerva, we started to feverishly anticipate the outcome. And rightly so, because The Integration LP feels genuinely deserving of the term “outsider dance”. Another thing that we do at EB is serve as a platform for video premieres of acts we’re really into. Which is why we’re proud to host the premiere of the video for Brown and Minerva’s appealingly ominous exercise in elastic dancefloor primativism “End of the World” featuring live footage of the 100% Silk tour shot by Benjamin Shearn. We can’t wait to see what Brown and her cohorts have got planned for next year. 2013: bring it on.
