Almost every day, famous people—some more famous than others—visit us at the Electronic Beats Berlin office. In the past 24 months we’ve had Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, Bernard Sumner, Nina Kravitz, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Carsten Nicolai and so many others. Whenever possible, we shoot portraits of our guests with our iPhones as well. Yesterday, Guido Möbius came along for a cup of arabica coffee. He is the PR agent of Club Transmediale, one of the most important events in Berlin’s musical calendar. The 14th edition of the festival, which celebrates the divergent developments and subversions within club culture, lands in the city at the end of the month. You can read about how Electronic Beats is involved by clicking here. This may have been the primary reason why Guido dropped by the EB offices earlier this week, but that’s far from his only endeavour: he is also an artist in his own right with a large solo discography. His most recent work is the album Spirituals released via Karaoke Kalk.
