Heterotic is the new project by Mike Paradinas, sometimes known under his performance alias of μ-Ziq and his wife Lara Rix-Martin. In today’s Mix of the Day the pair offer an insight into the breadth of influences and inspirations that course through their debut album of heat-hazy, fuzzy-edged electropop Love & Devotion, which is released through Paradinas’ renowned label Planet Mu on March 25.
