Paul Frick of Brandt Brauer Frick tells us about the highlights from the XJazz Festival, which hits Berlin this weekend from May 7-10.
This week sees the release of acoustic techno act Brandt Brauer Frick’s third LP Miami. Electronic Beats’ editor-in-chief Max Dax went to their studio in Neukolln to talk about the record, why Theo Parrish means more to them than the European avant-garde and their endless fascination with airport towers.
Tonight’s edition of Electronic Beats On Air was recorded at Brandt Brauer Frick’s studio in Berlin-Neukölln and features the band discussing their forthcoming album Miami, and playing an hour long mix.
The member of Sa-Ra Creative Partners, engineer for Jay-Z & Kanye, and producer for Frank Ocean takes a break from his myriad activities to join BBF for a spell. A special sneak preview from our upcoming print magazine, out March 21st.
