The recently released album Amygdala, his first solo release in nine years, has sent critics’ best-of-2013 senses tingling. And rightly so according to our recommendation written by Philip Sherburne. He’ll be playing at 20 Years of Kompakt, a Sonar beach party presented by Electronic Beats on Sunday June 16th at the Mac Arena Mar Beach Club, Barcelona. Michael Mayer, Pachanga Boys and Terranova will also be on the bill, representing the influential Cologne imprint which, in 2013, seems more relevant than ever.
