Electronic Beats Festival Berlin 2008

On November 20, 2008, the Electronic Beats Festival will come to Germany's vibrant capital, Berlin. This special night will take place at Postbahnhof.

Berlin-based Peaches will no doubt provide a live experience worthy of this grand finale of Electronic Beats Festivals in 2008. Her well-known performances blend her innovative on-stage energy with the electro-punk style she helped to pioneer. Releasing her fourth album this year, Peaches will preview her new tracks with backing band Berlin based Sweet Machine.

Brooklyn-based Hercules And Love Affair from the infamous DFA label will also top the dynamic line-up with their disco influenced electronic and dance style. The band has enjoyed immediate success since their first album release in March of this year with tracks such as ‘Blind’ and ‘Hercules Theme’ and are favourites within the worldwide electronic music scene.

Additionally, Santogold will take the stage to perform material from her electro-pop album released this year that includes such hits as ‘Creator’ and the chart-climbing single ‘Lights Out’. The US artist has been nominated for ‘Best break-through artist’ and continues to receive high recognition for her fresh sounds.
Completing the line-up are synth-pop band Late Of The Pier, Munich's finest electronica band Munk, the unpredictable Mixhell and one of the hottest new female DJs on the scene, Missill. Additional DJs will be announced soon. Doors open at 8 pm.
