Once a year Electronic Beats invites friends and family to come together during Popkomm, which always guarantees for a great night out in Berlin. This time we wanted it to be a particularly special Soirée, so the team threw in some extra effort.
The place to be: KMA 36. Once serving as a jewelery shop on pompous Karl-Marx-Allee (hence the name) it is now a beautiful bar with two levels in a see through cubic shape. The scenery around the venue alone was probably worth the ride. The buildings, which were build to show off the glories of communism are among the most particular sights Berlin has to offer.
DJ DSB opened the night with tunes to get the party started and we enjoyed the open bar and excellent finger food. As the crowds were flooding into the bar it was time for Little Boots from London to play. Sporting the Tenori-On as fancy stage decoration and muscial instrument, they pleased us all with a passionate live music experience. Only to pass us on to the responsibilities of Fuck Hugo who gladly took on the party.
Overall a much anticipated and retrospectively memorable night for all of us. Enjoy some impressions below.
Thanks for coming and hopefully see you all again at the Electronic Beats Festival soon to hit Berlin's Postbahnhof!
