5 Days Off takes over Amsterdam

27/01/2010

text: Ari Stein

If you’ve got five full days off in March, make sure you head down to the aptly titled 5 days off festival in Amsterdam.

Headline acts include Hot Chip, Groove Armada, Miss Kittin, Paul Kalkbrenner, Vitalic and Rusko. Elsewhere Four Tet, Floating Points, Bibio and Dixon are planning to rock a multitude of venues in the Dutch capital.

5 days off was originally based on the festival 10 days off which started in Ghent, but common sense prevailed and it has now whittled itself down to just 5 days, combining artistic elements such as photography, fashion and digital media.

5 days off takes place from March 3rd - 7th.
