text: Ari Stein

Copenhagen will witness some spectacular partying come early June.Taking form as a chaotic urban sprawl, Distortion festival is Copenhagen’s biggest Street party with 66 parties taking place all over Copenhagen for 5 days in 66 different locations.

No VIP’s, no closed backstage parties and cheap beer; this certainly eliminates the ego part of the festival.

The festival includes 16 street parties, 3 massive block parties and 40 small parties in buses, shops, galleries, bars, bungalows, beaches, boats and under bridges. The line up this year features Superstar Detroit DJ Carl Craig, Superpitcher and Michael Mayer collaboration Supermayer, Glass Candy and homegrown heros Who Made Who and Trentemøller.

Distortion takes place from the 3rd to the 7th of June.

Check out the whole line up on the festival's homepage and then get your tickets here.
