Warp20 festivities will be taking place in London (December 5th) and Berlin (December 4th and 11th) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the label’s inception.
It's amazing to think 20 years have passed Warp by already, proving their worth as one of the best electronic labels of the last two decades.Although Warp’s real innovators like Boards of Canada, Autechre or Nightmares on Wax should really show themselves, Warp have left behind a sufficient line-up for the festivities.
At London’s chosen venue Coronet; UK’s Broadcast will play their first live show in years, Plaid will present their well prepared ‘Live Classics Show’ and experimental group Battles will all be taking part.
Heading over to Berlin’s Berghain December 4th will present Battles, Nice Nice and Gravenhurst. Expect a serious clubbing experience on the 11th as Berghain offers a decent line-up made up of Hudson Mohawke Vs Rustie, Plaid, DJ Andrew Weatherall, Clark and Tim Exile.
Warp20 events have already taken place in New York, Paris and Warp’s hometown Sheffield. Tokyo will get their serving later this year. Tickets can be bought here.
