While looking at Kris van Assche’s second Spring/Summer collection for Dior Homme, one can't help but notice the definitive hipster-streetwear aesthetic in play here. Black and white? Check. White wind blockers? Check. Metallic pants with jewels on them? Check. High-top sneakers? Check. White belts? Check. Skinny ties? Check? Slim-fit black trousers? You know it.

Hedi Slimane's shadow aside, we were blown away by the collection's sexy sci-fi sunglasses. Not just because we’ve always aspired to have laser eyes like Cyclops from Marvel’s X-Men, but because the futuristic eyewear parade, which comes in magenta, orange, blue, black and white, truly looks fantastic when worn with a classic Dior suit.

These objects of ocular desire are limited to 500 pieces per color and will be available at the Dior Homme boutique shortly. By the way, the “Dior Long” soundtrack for the S/S 2009 runway show (which can be viewed on the Dior Homme website) was composed and performed by Justice. Actually, it's a special remix of parts one and two of their song “Planisphere”.
