Ben Klock to release album in 2009

18/11/2008

text: Jessica Binsch

Ben Klock, resident DJ at Berlin's techno mecca Berghain, will release a new album next year. Entitled "One", it will be available Feburary 23, 2009, on Ostgut Ton. Even though by far not his first release, the title "One" refers to the fact that this is his first full-length work, conceived in the studio during the year 2008.

In an interview with Resident Advisor magazine, Klock cites Berghain as one of the big influences on his work, yet considers "One" "more than a collection of club tracks". Sounds like the wait will be worth while!
