Freaks reveal their best and worst of times

Freaks, the live house band formed by Luke Solomon, Justin Harris and ably assisted by the unique vocals of Stella Attar, are set to return with a new album - Best of times

Formed over ten years ago, Freaks were one of the first live 'dance' acts to muscle their way into indie clubs and discos. Winning over the floppy fringed boys and guitar fixated girls, the London-based band of merry freaks blazed a trail from indie to dance back to indie then off to Ibiza over the course of several albums and countless singles.

However, after a (very) questionable remake of their biggest hit 'Creeps' - blew up into a mainstream radio bothering, electro by numbers anthem for teenagers -, the real Freaks promptly disappeared save for the odd remix here and there.

Best of Times is due to be released on their own Music For Freaks label in March this year, and features a mix of classic Freaks tracks, remixes and new releases. You can get a taste of the new material by checking out their current single 'U Make No Sense' on Crosstown Rebels.
