Fuse presents Deetron

17/10/2008

text: Remo Bitzi

Deetron from Bern, Switzerland has the great honour to release an album for the Belgian club Fuse. Deetron, who has his roots in Hip-Hop and developed a fascination for Detroit and Chicago sounds later, joins the list of DJ / producers with names such as Steve Bug, Joris Voorn, Shinedoe and Adam Beyer, who all have their very own Fuse compilation.

The tracklisting is quite impressive as Deetron is swapping between tracks by established names with the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Carl Craig or Swayzak and less known but not less attractive artists such as the Zurich-based The Lost Men (who are, by the way, part of the drumpoet.comUNITY, a neat soul-influenced house label) or Herb Martin with his fresh nu jazz sound straight from the Bronx, NY.

Have a look:

01. Mossa – Body Selector (Swayzak remix)
02. Salvatore Freda & Volta – Basic Hood Lobos
03. Kenneth Bager Feat. Jean Luc Ponty & Nikolaj Grandjean – Fragment Four Love Won't Leave Me Alone (Jackie Idjut Remix)
04. Iron Curtis – Ass & Cash
