Get Physical launches new sister label and website

Electro label Get Physical is moving into new stages. At the beginning of September, the launch of new sister label Get Digital was completed - the baby is now online on the redesigned website (see links below).

After working on the platform for about a year, its start is celebrated with an exclusive release that is available as free download on the website. It features British DJs Simon Baker and Jamie Jones with their Kaskazi mix, which includes

A - Kaskazi (Original)
B1 - Kaskazi (Swahili Dub)
B2 - KasKazi (Emotional Mix)

1,000 downloads are available.

With Get Digital, Get Physical's founders hope to be able to produce more releases per year and support established as well as up-and-coming artists. The new website provides access to music videos, podcasts, biographic information and more. While vinyl releases will be available in the future, the hope for "more flexibility to release more music" has led to this step.

The next downloads are already lined up, with M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade contributing. The plan is to offer songs exclusively on the label's website for four weeks until they go on sale on other sites.

Welcome to the digital age!
