White Stripes frontman Jack White and hip-hop megastar Jay Z have recently collaborated on a song together. In an interview with GQ Magazine, the White Stripes frontman explained that pair had recently recorded a track together, based on something White had "kicking around for a while".
No release date has been confirmed as yet, though it is widely thought that the song will appear on Jay Z's new album, which is due later this year - an album the rapper has stated he wants to be the most experimental record he has ever made.
Described as "unbelievable sounding" by White, it is yet to be seen whether the unnamed track veers towards the ghetto or the backwaters, or somewhere new altogether.
