Norwegian disco prince Lindstrøm will be releasing a collaborative LP titled Real Life Is No Cool alongside the dreamy vocal talents of Christabelle.

Lindstrøm described the pairs collaboration as structured chaos (we would lean toward “disco madness”) and their respective label Smalltown Supersound slates the release for early next year. The album includes three of the duo’s past collaborations, and seven new tunes.

Christabelle, otherwise known as Isabelle Haarseth Sandoo, has been performing with Lindstrøm off and on since 2001. Their most notable team up, a cover of Vangelis’ “Let It Happen”, appeared on the 2007 Late Night Tales compilation track under Christabelle’s other moniker Solale. Christabelle can also be heard on her brother Dennis Jr‘s 2005 track “Fantasy”.

Have a listen to “Let It Happen” on Lindstrøm and Christabelle's MySpace.

Smalltown Supersound will release Real Life Is No Cool on January 19th, 2010.
