Jazz genius Miles Davis will soon be immortalised in a Hollywood biopic by A-list actor Don Cheadle. However, what’s even more mouth watering is the news that another jazz legend will score the biopic, none other than Herbie Hancock.
Movie site The Playlist has cast light on the film with a quote from Cheadle, who describes the movie as "cradle-to-grave, historically accurate depiction of who he was".
The development of the film had initially slowed due to financial pressures, but now it seems to be up and running again. We hope Cheadle, who is an accomplished saxophonist himself, can do justice to Davis’ larger than life personality.
No word on a release date yet.
