Mock & Toof Tuning Echoes

Mock & Toof have reveled details of their forthcoming album - TuningEchoes.

Known to their mums and dads as Duncan Stump and Nick Woolfs, the group has built an enviable reputation with their disco-fueled house records.

However, these nu-disco consorts protest they are unlikely heroes; "Anyone who knows our music will know that we're a bit all over the place as producers. If we like an idea we run with it, and we're much more comfortable being eclectic and not pigeonholed. Hopefully the album will help us in our quest for non-categorisation!"

A lofty goal, that the duo seems to have achieved with ease – the record has easy, effortless feel that no doubt belies the effort that went into making it. Mainly containing vocal tracks, with collaborations by Gavin Gorden and Pollyester, Tuning Echoes is pretty far away what people might expect from the duo.

Stump’s label Tiny Sticks will be launching Tuning Echoes on May 24th, 2010.
