Move over Mutek, Montreal has something else to get excited about. Microhouse producer Mossa is currently putting the finishing touches to his second album entitled Festine.

Also known by the formal name of Jeremy Petrus, the Canadian has had well over 10 years of classical music training, contributing to his worldly but uniquely dark style of minimal house. Petrus who has also worked with noted producers like John Tejada and Ark. He released his first LP Some Eat It Raw in 2006 on the French label Circus Company, since then he has changed his label to Thema who will now release his new album.

On this latest release, techno talents such as Dave Aju, Mike Shannon, and Mathias Kaden all help out with production and vocal duties. There is also a bonus track “Heather's Feathers” if you buy the album digitally.

Thema will release Festine on March 3rd, 2010.
