Mr. Oizo’s mockumentary, “Making of Lambs Anger”

Mr. Oizo’s mockumentary, “Making of Lambs Anger”

text: Ari Stein

Ed Banger musician Mr. Oizo, also known as filmmaker and music producer Quentin Dupieux, recently released a short video that is both ridiculous and fantastic.

Assembled in support of Oizo’s 2008 LP “Lambs Anger”, the mockumentary captures the true essence of the album-making experience, as well as some extremely bizarre behavior from an interviewer posing as a street cop and a housewife who assumes Mr. Oizo’s secret identity. Lets just say: who would’ve though lettuce and yoghurt could enhance the music making experience?

Mr. Oizo is no stranger to the film making experience; he directed the French feature film Steak back in 2007. He also released a 12” EP “Pourriture” in March, and will be appearing at Germany’s biggest dance party Sonne Monde Sterne this summer.
