Danny Berman, aka Hot Coins, aka Red Rack'Em has announced details of his forthcoming debut album, which will be released via his own, newly created Bergerac label. Due to drop in September, Red Rack'Em - The Early Years, pulls together a mix of brand new material and older cuts that have been released as singles on the likes of Tirk, Deep Freeze and Untracked. However, the label's first release will be an EP - Berman's How I Programme EP.
Intriguingly German illustrator Silke Eislet has been commissioned to draw a picture of all of the houses that Berman has lived, which form the basis of the artwork on the initial Bergerac releases. As Berman says " You can't get more fucking house than that". Indeed.
You can also catch up with the Scotsman on his bi-weekly Smugglers Inn Podcast which is without fail choc-full of musical goodness.
