Sad news from Skull Disco. Label boss Shackleton has announced that the labels latest release "Soundboy's Gravestone Gets Desecrated By Vandals" will be in fact the label's last. After three years of ultra successful releases, the East London based label that has done more to champion dubstep and deep dark techno than probably any one else, has decided to go out on a high. No more minimal excursion with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and no more highly coveted vinyl releases. Somehow though, I don't think that this will be the last we hear of Shackleton and his merry band of techno dubsteppers.
In the meantime to console yourself whilst you wipe away those bass heavy tears, you can head over to the Skull Disco site and download a mix full of deep and moody treats. And it's for free! Now cheer up.
