No, not South by Southwest in Austin, Texas but South West Four, a major dance festival set in Clapham Common, London.

Kicking off the August Bank Holiday weekend, this festival is set to showcase some of the best DJ and dance talent in the world. Headline acts this year include legends Sasha & John Digweed, with support from Layo & Bushwacka!, Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Warren, James Lavelle, Jim Rivers and Anil Chawla. But this just announced: the headliners of the Kiss/ Ministry Of Sound main stage are none other than David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Sander Kleinenberg and are you ready for it: Richie Hawtin!

And if that’s not enough South West Four’s big brother Get Loaded In The Park is taking place the day after, with Orbital, Royksopp and Laurent Garnier all mixing it up, centre stage. Weekend tickets just went on sale for the whole Clapham Weekender, which includes both of these loaded festivals. Think we might be taking a jaunt to London-town soon…

South West Four takes place on Saturday 29th August,2009

Get Loaded In the Park takes place on Sunday 30th August,2009
