Electronic music veteran and (relatively new) member of The Orb, Thomas Fehlmann, will soon release Gute Luft - the soundtrack to the innovative TV documentary 24h Berlin.

Those of you who live in Berlin will probably remember the innovative TV series, which aired last year, creating a detailed mosaic of Berlin over 24 straight hours.

The accompanying soundtrack by Fehlmann is an almost ambient/techno styled LP documenting the last 30 years of the electronic music scene in Berlin.

Fehlmann said of the soundtrack; “There are also more subtle connections that should give an overall feel to the score”, going on to conclude, “You feel at peace with you and your environment, inspire you to lush, imaginative dinners, make babies, or just walk your own way with open eyes”.

The Orb recently released their latest album Baghdad Batteries in September. Countdown to the next televised 1,440 seconds begins.

Kompakt will release Gute Luft on March 30th, 2010.
