There are two things Torino is famous for: one is the Shroud of Turin and the other is their football club. Juventus F.C. Thankfully, now we can add the eclectic three-day festival Club to Club to that list.
Back for its ninth edition, this fiercely independent electronic festival has revealed their thematic question and war cry for 2009: the theme is ‘State of Indepen/Dance’, which focuses on a central question of “whom or what can you be independent from, at the end of the noughties?”
Previous names that have appeared at Club to Club include Akufen, Digitalism and Tiga. But this year looks set to eclipse all others with noteworthy headliners Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Martyn, Blixa Bargeld, Tim Exile and Shed. Those fluent in Italian should definitely keep on eye on the festival’s website.
Club to Club takes place from November 5-7, 2009.
