Handsome and mysterious Dane Trentemøller will release his sophomore LP at the end of May entitled Into the Great Wide Yonder. The man, who constantly offers up musical surprises for us, will release his first single ‘Sycamore Feeling’ in early April via his own label In My Room.
Since his last foray into the musical world, with his critically acclaimed album The Last Resort in 2006, Anders Trentemøller has gone onto to remix artists such as The Knife, Depeche Mode and Röyksopp attracting not only an ambient, down tempo crowd but also gaining a strong following from techno and house fans too.
Most recently Trentemøller took us on his 2009 journey, Harbour Boat Trips 01: Copenhagen, showing us the diverse range of his personal musical tastes.
We’re very excited to hear the fruits of this next album; with instruments like acoustic guitars, strings, Theremin, and a bass mandolin being used, it can only be good. In fact very good.
