Electronica meets fat beats and passionate songwriting

With their first two albums "No More Wars" and "Next Time" bridging the gap between club culture and folk aesthetics, Bodi Bill became an integral part of the German indietronic scene.

For “Depart”, the second single of current album “Next Time”, Bodi Bill turned a mixture of electro, folk and indie into beautiful, floating pop songs. They let the music develop into melancholia using the interplay of modern electronicas unaccommodating coldness on one side and the intimacy of the chamber music compositions on the other. The title track features Mariechen Danz, an Irish performance artist living in L.A., who lends the song her charming voice.

Bodi Bill position themselves smartly between music to listen to and to dance to; their songs are full of emotions and vitality. This year, Bodi Bill performed at most of the notable European festivals. Their session for Electronic Beats Radio gives a good overview of the diverse and contrasting sounds from where the trio draws its inspiration.
