For Ellen Allien, 2009 marked the 10th birthday of her acclaimed label BPitch Control. Throughout the years, BPitch Control helped shape the careers of remarkable acts like Modeselektor and Apparat, Sascha Funke, Smash TV aka Holger Zilske, Kiki, Paul Kalkbrenner and many more. Ellen herself is on the go more than ever: she now applies her creative skills to her own fashion collections. Call her producer, remixer, DJ, label head, fashion designer or simply: creative visionary.

With her prodigious gifts, Ellen weaves graphics, music, artwork, visuals and fashion into a Gesamtkunstwerk (‘total work of art’). As impassionate music lover and businesswoman, she is not only in charge of BPitch Control, but also leveraging the artistic potential of all signed artists.

In addition to the upcoming BPitch Control anniversary compilation and Fuckpony’s new album, Ellen is supposed to release a new album within the next few months.
