Estroe--Session from Amsterdam Dance Event, 2009-10

Rotterdam based Estroe had been DJing for years before she decided to step into production. Initially, the switch was time consuming and complicated, but in a testament to her tenacity, she explored numerous music production programs and became an expert. After several months of experimentation, Estroe began producing her own tracks. Within three years, she was known as one of the top female producers in the world.
Early tracks were inspired by the Detroit scene, and it wasn’t long before the platinum blonde producer was signed by a record label. Soon her productions appeared on the radar of Laurent Garnier, Ripperton and John Digweed, attesting to her remarkable creative skills. Having released on Bio and her own label EevoNext, her mystifying track “Driven” was picked by Connaisseur Superieur and remixed by Jamie Jones.
“I get restless when I can’t work on my own melodies. It’s such a good outlet for my emotions”, says Estroe. Indeed, she has developed an instinct for her specific style twisting between Detroit techno and emotional, melodic deep house, followed by a pinch of experimental electronica.
