A techno globetrotter keeping his feet to the Polish ground.

Warsaw born Jacek Sienkiewicz has released on respected Klang Elektronik, Opossum, WMF Records, Smallville and Trapez and besides that, has run his own label Recognition for a decade. His first album ‘Techné’ was released in 2002 on Cocoon Recordings, the first artist album to be released on Väth’s imprint, and since then Sienkiewicz has come up with countless 12-inches, his second album ‘Displaced’ and the Mix-CD ‘Modern Dance’.
Sienkiewicz concentrates on doing ‘his thing’ instead of engaging himself too much in the rave community and going astray. His sound meanders between Detroit techno and experimental with references to minimal, and makes use of intense harmonics and complex chords. The clear fingerprint that shines through in his sounds has gained him solid reputation both in his home country and abroad.
