For a long time, Cologne based artist and singer Dillon was tipped as being a ‘Fräuleinwunder’ – mostly because of her sweet, intimate, and vulnerable voice. But Dillon is much more than just a little girl, she’s a grown up woman with her own, unique voice – which is why Ellen Alien signed Dillon to her BPitch Control imprint, where the debut album This Silence Kills was being released in 2011. Being influenced by artists such as Lykke Li and Jens Lekman, but also Joy Division, Björk, and LFO, Dillon is not to be missed. Photo: Eva Beth/Thorsten Oelscherl

Electronic Beats Festival Zagreb goes off tomorrow—we hope you have your tickets already, because they’re going fast! Of course, with this lineup it’s no wonder. BPitch Control‘s Dillon is a hell of a performer (and, in a pinch, a good improvisationalist) and we’re very much looking forward to seeing the EB Magazine covergirl open the festivities. – more
