Markus Reatz (a.k.a. Gunjah) has been an active member of the German electronic music scene since the mid ‘90s. Though he primarily played in Dresden’s clubs for the first few years of his career, he eventually became a mainstay at Berlin’s E-Werk in the early 2000s and subsequently began touring more extensively throughout the country. He has released eight singles and EPs since 2003 on 1st Decade Records, Armut24, Freude Am Tanzen, Moensterbox, Hive Audio, Katermukke and Ritter Butzker Studio. He also collaborated with pop outfit Niconé – Alexander Gerlach and Helena Kapidzic – on the 2014 split EP Speicher 78 on Kompakt Records.
