Hans Nieswandt

Born in 1964 in Mannheim, Germany, Hans Nieswandt is a respected character in club culture. As a producer and music writer active for more than 20 years, he has traveled around the world as a DJ and lecturer. He has produced seven albums and countless remixes, both solo and together with the group Whirlpool Productions. In 2002, his first book, Plusminuseight – DJ days, DJ nights, was published by KiWi, Cologne, and was followed by Disko Ramallah and other strange places to spin records at (2006) and DJ Dionysos – Stories From The Disco World (2010). Since 2003, his weekly radio show, “Plan B mit Hans Nieswandt,” has been broadcast on German station WDR 1Live.
