Muete

Meute is a techno marching band from Hamburg. A dozen drummers and horn players step into the role of DJ, and wield acoustic instruments rather than records. The archaic conglomerate of brass and drums create a new genre by combining hypnotic, driving techno and expressive brass-band music. Meute detaches electronic music from the DJ desk by directicting its energy directly into the crowd. In the countryside or in the club, with or without electricity—Meute runs.
