Bird’s Eye View festival celebrates women for its seventh edition

Bird’s Eye View Film Festival will be taking place at BFI Southbank, Southbank Centre, the ICA and other venues across London this March to celebrate women filmmakers from across the world.

Opening on the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the festival founded in 2002 showcases the best works from Women filmmakers out of various categories, such as feature films, documentaries, short films, fashion films, music videos and many more.

This year there’s a great music programme to complement features such as Susanne Bier’s Oscar-nominated In A Better World and Kelly Reichardt’s Meek’s Cutoff.

Highlights include performances from Michachu, Imogen Heap and a Music Loves Video strand hosted by Kate Nash. Check here to see the full programme and watch the festival trailer below.

Bird’s Eye View Film Festival will take place from March 8th until March 17th. Get your tickets via Bird’s Eye View.
