His recent cover of Australian brother-sister duo Angus and Julia Stone‘s “Big Jet Plane” is playing on radio stations across Europe. Austrian singer and songwriter Anja Franziska Plaschg, best known under her stage name of Soap&Skin has just released a video for her cover of ‘Voyage Voyage’ by Desireless. Turning the original track’s bittersweet euro-pop on its head, Plaschg performs the song as heartbreakingly sad torch song. Fun it is not. Affecting, it most definitely is. – more
