Berlin Community Radio Picked 4 Women For Activist Residency
The independent digital radio broadcaster Berlin Community Radio has named the people who will participate in its Incubator initiative, which was announced last month with a call for applications.
The program offers female-identified up-and-comers a month-long residency at the station, media promotion, and a live slot at its monthly club night, among other perks. The panel of DJs, radio industry members and bloggers selected Istanbul transplant Nene Hatun, Chinese electronic artist He Rui, a producer called Bonaventure whose SoundCloud bio reads “Racially charged content” and A Neighbourhood Character, who we don’t yet know really anything about. But we’re keen to hear more about them all.
