Blanck Mass Curates Giallo Homage Score
That beautiful double LP up there is a complete rescoring of the 2013 Italian Giallo homage The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears, which contained no original soundtracks.
Fuck Buttons/Blanck Mass composer Ben Power saw this as an opportunity to do something weird and interesting with a variety of musicians, and so devised the idea of soundtracking this beautiful film as a platform. Along with Power’s Blanck Mass, the soundtrack includes contributions from Roll The Dice from Sweden, Helm, Moon Gangs and Phil Julian in the UK, Scotland’s Konx-Om-Pax, and Spencer Yeh from NYC.
