Matthew Cooper is back with a new record recorded as Eluvium. Called False Readings On, it’s a return to basics for the Portland-based producer that sees him creating a gorgeous soundscape of cosmicly slow ambience and ethereal voices that’s as achingly beautiful as pleasantly relaxing to get lost in. It’s the perfect thing to ease the mind off the accumulated stresses of life, the universe…and everything, really. The LP will be released September 2nd on Temporary Residence Limited, but if you need it now, you can stream it over at NPR.
