Nash the Slash is a Canadian electronic legend—or, at least, he should be. The project of Toronto’s Jeff Plewman, Nash was a distinctive figure in the ’80s wave scene both at home and abroad. Swathed in bandages and goggles, he unleashed some of the best dark electronics we’ve ever shook a Doc Marten at. Though he sadly passed away in 2014, this woefully obscure artist is finally getting his due thanks to Artoffact Records. Just check out this gorgeous set:

Nash The Slash

The reissue comes in both vinyl (including the gorgeous limited blue vinyl pictured above) and CD editions of the Bedside Companion EP from 1978, his ’79 debut album Dreams & Nightmares, 1980’s Children of the Night, the Hammersmith Holocaust live LP. The set comes complete with rare photos and liner notes from Gary Numan himself, who once toured with Nash in the UK. We’re madly excited for this one, and pre-orders are available now—race you!
